View Work Instructions in the Preferred Language
View a Work Instruction in an available language other than the default.
The language you see comes from your iMaintenance profile or localization setting. Work Instruction text and media are not translated automatically — a language variant must be authored and published separately. If your preferred language is unavailable, the instruction displays in the language it was authored in.
The following procedure documents the iMaintenance mobile path.
- Change the language in your iMaintenance profile or localization setting.
- Synchronize.
- Open the Work Instruction.
- Select an available language, if the instruction provides a language selector.
- Download media for the selected language before offline work.
The instruction displays in the selected language where a published variant exists.
