Validate PPE and Required Controls

Confirm the configured PPE and safety controls before beginning permitted work.

Role: Permit Holder or Technician. Platform: iMaintenance Mobile.

Complete PPE verification whenever it is configured for the permit. The unavailable or not-applicable path is controlled by the permit workflow; it is not a way to bypass a required check.

  1. Open the PPE validation section.
  2. Review the PPE required by the permit and JHA.
  3. Confirm the available PPE and complete the configured verification questions.
  4. Capture a PPE photo when the workflow requests evidence.
  5. Submit the PPE activity.
  6. Resolve any missing PPE or control before starting work.

The PPE activity is recorded with the user and date/time. Captured photos remain with the permit record and can be reviewed in Permit History.
