Mapping certificates to users

Map the certificates to respective users using Transaction code: EXTID_DN.

To map the certificates:

  1. Switch to Edit mode.
  2. Create a new entry.

  3. Save the mapping.

    Note: Ensure that the value for CN in External ID field is maintained in the same case as the user login ID.

    To avoid authentication failures, you can maintain two entries with both lower- and upper-case user IDs.

    Example: For user gogier_con, you can maintain the following entries:

    • CN=s0013927235, OU=Certification, O=SAP
    • CN=S001392725, OU=Certification, O=SAP
