To activate the SAP NetWeaver Gateway:

In transaction SPRO, open SAP Reference IMG and navigate to SAP NetWeaver,
SAP Gateway, OData Channel, Configuration, Activate or Deactivate SAP
NetWeaver Gateway.

Click Activity.

Click Activate.
A message appears notifying the status.
