Create an Issue
You can create an issue for an equipment malfunction during rounds from the web application, ensuring that tasks are efficiently delegated and tracked to completion.
To create an issue:
- Click the Observations section on the left-side pane.
- Click the Issues tab.
- Click Create Issue.

In the Create Issue screen, do the following,
- Enter the issue title in the Name field.
- Enter the issue description in the Description field.
- Select the Category as Observation, Maintenance, Incident, Near Miss, or Hazard from the list.
- Select the Priority and select the
Event Execution as
Shutdown, Turnaround,
or General from the list.Note:If you select the Category as Maintenance, the issue is converted to a notification automatically.
- Add images in the Photos field.
- Select the Plant, Unit, Functional Location, and Asset values from the respective dropdowns.
- In the Assigned To to drop-down,
- Choose User and select the user from the drop-down.
- or
- Choose User Group and select the user group from the drop-down.
- Select Start Date and Time.
- Select Due Date and Time.
- Select the Status as Open, In-Progress, Resolved, or Un Resolved.
- Enable Convert to ERP Notification toggle if you want to convert the issue to notification.

Click Create.
The issue is created successfully. The supervisor and maintenance team receives notifications about the new issue.
