Permit management ensures that hazardous work is properly planned, reviewed, authorized, and executed in compliance with safety requirements. You can create, review, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits to control work activities and ensure all required safety checks are completed throughout the permit lifecycle.

      Standalone permits can be linked to a Work Order when the work becomes associated with a planned maintenance activity. Linking ensures the permit is aligned with the correct work order and operations for proper tracking and execution.
    - Request for Reversion
      After submitting a permit for review, the requester can still request a reversion if any details were missed to fill.
  - Review and Revert a Permit
    After a permit is raised, it enters the review stage, where the reviewer validates the work scope, hazards, and safety requirements before allowing the permit to move forward.
  - Authorize the Permit
    Once a permit is reviewed, it moves to the authorization stage, where the authorizer performs final checks and confirms that the work is safe before approval.
  - Issue the Permit
    After a permit is authorized, it moves to the Issue stage. In this stage, the Issuer verifies site readiness and ensures all safety conditions are met before allowing work to begin.

  The functionality to manage all stages of the permit lifecycle—from raising the permit to final closure—is available in the Mobile Application. The mobile app enables users to create permits, review details, validate safety requirements, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits directly from the field.

Raise Standalone Permit

Standalone permits are typically used where no work order exists. In this flow, risk is associated directly with the selected equipment or functional location.

To raise a Standalone permit, follow the steps below:

Navigate to EHS → Permits from the left navigation panel.
Select the required plant from the dropdown.
Click Raise Permit Manually and select Raise Standalone from the dropdown.

Select the appropriate Functional Location where the work will be performed to link the permit to the correct plant area or system.
Select the specific Equipment associated with the chosen functional location on which the activity will be carried out.
Define the type of work to be performed (e.g., inspection, maintenance, repair, hot work) to ensure accurate risk assessment and approval workflow.
Click Continue.
