What is the mRounds application?
mRounds helps supervisors to create operator rounds and helps operators execute round tasks, record asset data, and submit scheduled rounds with Supervisors.
The mRounds application consists of mRounds mobile application and Operator Rounds web application.
mRounds Mobile App
mRounds Mobile App guides operators to execute round tasks in a systematic and organized manner. Operators execute the assigned tasks using the mRounds Mobile App, detect potential technical failures early on and help prevent equipment breakdowns.
- View and execute rounds tasks assigned to them.
- Conduct maintenance checks and capture asset data.
- Create, view, and update issues when anomalies are found.
- Create, view, and update actions to follow up the issues.
For example, when a Supervisor assigns a round to check the motor bearings friction twice a week, operator visits the functional location or equipment, reviews the check points, capture the data like rpm and voltage, and submits a report using the mRounds application. If any anomalies are found, operators can raise a notification immediately for the equipment or the functional location. For information, see Use mRounds to Execute Round Tasks.
Operator Rounds Web Application
Operator Rounds Web Application helps Supervisors or Round Planners to create Round Plans & Tasks and assign them to operators based on their availability. The rounds consist of monitoring and maintenance tasks for functional locations or equipment. These round plans ensure the equipment operates effectively and efficiently, reduces downtime, and lowers repair costs.
Using the Operator Rounds Web Application of mRounds, supervisors/round planners can,
- Create round plans for functional location or equipment with a single or multiple tasks.
- Schedule round plans and assign them to operators.
- Monitor progress of round plans execution by operators.
- Manage issues and follow-ups created by operators while executing round tasks.
For information, see Create Rounds and Assign Round Tasks.
Master Data & User Management Modules
Master Configuration Module helps Administrators to add Plants, Assets, & Functional Locations. Administrators can also add Units of Measurement and Global Response Sets data. For information, see How to add Master Data.
Administrators can also add users which include Supervisors and Operators and manage them. For information, see How to onboard Users and Assign Roles.
