Integration Setup

This section explains how to integrate Work Order data or other source systems into iPermits to enable permit creation and ensure permits are aligned with operational work planning and execution.

In iPermits, external system integration focuses on ensuring the availability of Work Order data, which is a mandatory prerequisite for Permit creation. Permit workflows are designed to be initiated against a valid Work Order. As a result, tenants must ensure that Work Order data is available and synchronized in the platform database before users can create and execute permits.

Rather than treating “ERP integration” as a generic setup requirement, iPermits requires integration of Work Order data, regardless of the source system. This ensures that permit workflows remain tightly coupled with operational work planning and execution.

Work Order data can be sourced from:

ERP systems (for example, SAP), or
A Transactional Data Repository integrated with the Innovapptive platform.
