What's New for Operators in mRounds
Review the Release 2608.01 changes that affect how you execute rounds, record responses, and work in the mobile app.
Duplicate Issue Detection Existing issues for the same asset or location are now checked before the issue form is completed. When online, the check can also include issues outside the user’s synced data and date filters. For more information, see Create an Issue. |
AI-Powered Reading Capture from Photos Operators can now take photos of gauges, panels, or forms to quickly enter values. This makes it easier to capture inspection results without entering each value manually. For more information, see Review Task Guidance and Complete Each Response Type. |
Alphabetical Sorting for Assets and Locations Asset and location lists are now sorted alphabetically during round execution, making it easier to find items in long hierarchies. For more information, see Start a Round and Follow the Route. |
AI-Guided Equipment Troubleshooting Use AI Troubleshoot to review likely causes and guided troubleshooting steps based on asset-specific equipment documentation. Source documents can be opened for reference, and a Maintenance Issue can be created when further attention is needed For more information, see Review Task Guidance and Complete Each Response Type. |
Round Recovery After System Outages Operators can now enter results for rounds completed on paper during a system outage, network issue, or unavailable device. The original inspection date and time can be recorded, while the digital submission time is retained for audit purposes. |
Asset Search from Location Hierarchy Search and drill through the Location hierarchy to find the required asset or functional location when creating an Issue or Action. Selecting an asset can also automatically populate its related Location. |
Landscape Mode for Digital Work Instructions View Digital Work Instructions in landscape mode for a more spacious and readable experience, especially on tablets. |
AI-Assisted Issue Creation Describe an issue by typing or using voice-to-text, add a photo, or use both. AI can identify the asset and location and populate details such as the title and description for review before the issue is created. |
