What is the mRounds application?
mRounds helps supervisors to create operator rounds and helps operators execute round tasks, record asset data, and submit scheduled rounds with supervisors.

This section provides the overview of the mRounds mobile application and how to use the application to inspect & execute rounds and record data of the findings.
Create Rounds and Assign Round Tasks
This section provides information on how to create rounds for asset maintenance checks and assign them to operators.
- How to log into Web Application
  Open the application using the URL and login with your User ID and Password.
- Overview of the mRounds Web Application
  mRounds web application is organized into seven sections. They are:
- Overview of Dashboard
  The Round Plans dashboard provides real-time or historical data, which includes rounds summary and issues & actions reports in a graphical format. These reports help supervisors monitor rounds and identify anomalies or deviations during rounds execution.
- How to create, schedule and assign round plans
  Round Planner creates round plans with multiple tasks for asset maintenance checks and publish them. The published round plans are assigned to operators depending on their availability.
- How to view status of rounds
  Round Planners or Supervisors can closely monitor the rounds’ progress by viewing the scheduled round plans.
- How to view round plans and plan details
  View round plans list and round plan details in the Plans tab in the Scheduler section.
- How to create Ad-Hoc rounds
  Generate and schedule an Ad-hoc round from Published or Scheduled round plans from the web app for emergency situations.
- How to generate Shift Handover Report
  The Outgoing Shift Supervisor generates the shift handover report and handovers it to the Incoming Shift Supervisor.
  - Generate and Handover Shift Handover Report
    As an Outgoing Supervisor, you can generate a shift handover report with notes, observations, attachments and any other important information and handover it to the Incoming Supervisor during shift change.
  - Accept Shift Handover Report
    Once the Outgoing Supervisor generates the shift handover report. As an Incoming Supervisor, you can accept it from the Outgoing Supervisor to review notes, observations, and attachments and address any issues or concerns if any to facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer during shift changes.
  - Create Shift Log Template
    Create shift log templates for different plants, units, and positions combinations with multiple sections, tasks, and response types. If you modify the template, the same changes are applied in the shift handover reports, which are using the template.
  - Control Data Permissions
    Control the shift handover templates authorization through Data Permissions for a specified plant that helps reduce cognitive load, improve user experience, and boost operational efficiency.
- How to view issues and actions
  View all issues and actions in the Observations section. These issues and actions are created by the Operators in the mRounds application while executing tasks. You will receive an email alert when an issue/action is created, assigned, and closed. This helps you avoid any potential delays. You can click the link in the email and directly navigate to the Observations module and view the issues/actions.
- How to create ERP Notification for an asset
  Create a notification for an equipment or functional location while executing round tasks. The Notification triggers in the backend ERP system with a notification number.
- How to archive, restore, and delete round plans
  As a supervisor, you can archive inactive round plans and restore them when needed. Or you can permanently delete round plans when they are no longer required for asset inspection.
- How to search & filter rounds, Issues, and Actions
  Search and filters are powerful options for finding information quickly, easily, and accurately. They help you to get the information you need quickly and effortlessly.
How to add Master Data
Use the Master Configuration module to add master data. As an admin, you can create master data like plants, assets, locations, units of measurements, and global response set data that can be used to create forms and rounds.
How to onboard Tenants/Super Admins
Use the Tenant Management module to create tenant or super admin roles for onboarded customers/user and provide access to the applications and modules.
How to onboard Users and Assign Roles
Use the User Management module to create roles and so on, create users, and assign relevant roles to the users.
How to export Round Submissions and sync Master Data

Control Data Permissions

Control the shift handover templates authorization through Data Permissions for a specified plant that helps reduce cognitive load, improve user experience, and boost operational efficiency.

To control shift handover template permissions:

Expand Shift Handover and click Data Permissions.
Select the plant from the Plant drop-down.
Switch ON the Enable SHR toggle button for a selected Position to enable the permission to enter the log details while generating a shift handover report.
Select a plant, unit, or position from the Can Perform Handover of drop-down.
Select a plant, unit, or position from the Can View Handover of drop-down.
Select a user from the Users Who Can Perform Handover drop-down.
