What is the mRounds application?
mRounds helps supervisors to create operator rounds and helps operators execute round tasks, record asset data, and submit scheduled rounds with Supervisors.

This section provides information on how to create rounds for asset maintenance checks and assign them to operators.
- How to log into Web Application
  Open the application using the URL and login with your User ID and Password.
- Overview of the Operator Rounds Web Application
  Operator Rounds Web Application's features are organized under four sections. They are:

  Supervisors can create round plans with multiple tasks for asset maintenance checks and publish them. The published round plans can be assigned to operators depending on their availability.
  - Pointers for creating an effective round plan
    - Read Only Field
      Read Only field response type is used in asset inspections to display important information and prevent accidental changes to critical data. This response type is disabled to edit. For example, Temperature threshold on a refrigeration unit.
    - Text Answer
      Text Answer questions are a great way to capture answers or responses to open-ended questions, such as comments or descriptions of observations. Capture text responses, either in short answer form or in a paragraph for more details.
    - Scan
      Scan response type helps to minimize human error when capturing information and save time with accurate and quick data entry. Add questions to your templates and let users scan bar-codes/QR codes using scanners when answering inspection questions.
    - Hyperlink
      Hyperlink response type helps to add links to refer additional information of an asset.
    - Signature
      Signature response type is used to add signature of the responsible person who is performing certain inspections or tasks. For example, a technician.
    - Slider
      Slider response type is used to add values range. For example, readings range, price range, measurement range, etc.
    - Date Range
      Date Range response type is used to add date range of particular action or item. For example, inspection date range.
    - Instructions
      Instructions response type is used to provide instructions to the technicians to ensure that equipment is properly maintained, and operated, while also promoting safety and preventing damage to the equipment. For example, Safety instructions may be provided to ensure that inspections are performed safely and that personnel are protected from hazard.
    - Number
      Number response type is used to add numbering inputs. For example, readings, measurements, etc.
    - Date and Time
      Date and Time response type is used to add date and time. For example, inspection date and time.
    - Check box
      Check box response type is used to add list of items. For example, checklist, list of tasks or actions, etc.
    - Photo
      Photo response type is used to add attachments for better visibility of the responses with proofs. You can add attachments like images.
    - Geo Location
      Geo Location response type is used to add equipment or asset location. For example, machine location.
    - Multiple Choice
      Multiple Choice response type presents pre-determined options, allowing the user to select a response without the need for open-ended input.
    - Global Picklist
      Global Pick List response type presents drop-down options, allowing the user to select a response from the drop-down.
    - Conditional Logic
      Conditional logic changes how your online form behaves based on specific user actions. It allows you to dynamically customize the form experience based on your respondents’ answers.
  - Create a round plan and Publish
    Create round plans for asset maintenance and publish them. Only the published rounds can be scheduled and assigned to operators.
  - Schedule round plans and assign them to operators
    You can schedule rounds by dates or by frequency like daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and assign them to operators.
- How to view status of rounds
  Round Planners or Supervisors can closely monitor the rounds’ progress by viewing the scheduled round plans.
- How to view round plans and plan details
  View round plans list and round plan details from the Plans tab in the Scheduler section
- How to view issues and actions
  View all open issues and actions in the Observations dashboard. These issues and actions are created by the Operators in the mRounds application while executing tasks.
- How to create ERP Notification for an asset
  You can create Notification for equipment or functional location while executing round tasks. The Notification triggers in the backend ERP system with a notification number.
- How to archive, restore, and delete round plans
  As a supervisor, you can archive inactive round plans and restore them plans when needed. You can permanently delete round plans when they are no longer required for asset maintenance.
- How to search & filter rounds, Issues, and Actions
  Search and filters are powerful options for finding information quickly, easily, and accurately. They help you to get the information you need quickly and effortlessly.
How to add Master Data
Use the Master Configuration module to add master data. As an admin, you can create master data like plants, assets, locations, units of measurements, and global response set data that can be used to create forms and rounds.
How to onboard Tenants/Super Admins
Use the Tenant Management module to create tenant or super admin roles for onboarded customers/user and provide access to the applications and modules.
How to onboard Users and Assign Roles
Use the User Management module to create roles and so on, create users, and assign relevant roles to the users.

Pointers for creating an effective round plan

A well-thought-out and structured round plan gives your field technicians the context and helps them complete their work quickly, correctly, and efficiently. Design your round plan task comprehensively to:

capture all the required information about the assets
make it simpler to do maintenance checks in an orderly manner
enhance the field user experience

Follow the below pointers to create an effective round plan:

Pages and Sections

Sections are groups of questions bunched together and pages may be either one or a group of sections. This logical organization of questions helps users to progress through maintenance checks quickly.

Structure round plans using the following hierarchy:

Pages
Add pages to navigate quickly to the next page in the mobile application.
Sections
Add sections inside each page to group relevant questions together.
Questions
Add logical questions under each section with different response types along with required conditional logic. You can also import the questions.
Standard Response Types
Standard response types are predefined formats that help capture asset inspection data consistently and efficiently. Standard Response Types are categorized into Responses and Pick-list. The following Standard Response Types are supported:
