Create an Action

Create a follow up action when you observe that an issue that is marked resolved needs further investigation by a technician.

To create an action:

  1. In the Actions screen, tap the Add Action button at the bottom.
  2. In the Create Action screen, do the following:
    1. Enter the action title in the Title field.
    2. Enter the action description in the Description field.
    3. Tap the Add Photo button in the Photo field to add images.
    4. Select the Priority as High, Medium, or Low.
    5. Expand the More Details section, do the following.

      1. Select the relevant plant in the Plant drop-down.
      2. Select the relevant location in the Location drop-down.
      3. Select the relevant asset in the Asset drop-down.
      4. Select a technician in the Assign to drop-down to assign the action. Tap Save once you select the users.
      5. Select the Due Date and Time.
      6. Select the Status such as Open, In-Progress, or Resolved.

  3. Tap the Create button on top right.

    Action Created Successfully message appears and you can see the newly created action in the Open Actions tab. If the action is assigned to you then you can see it in the My Actions tab.
