Control Offline Availability

Understand how plant and user permissions affect Work Instruction downloads.

Offline download availability is controlled by an administrator through DWI configuration and user permissions.

When downloads are disabled:

The Download action is hidden.
The Downloaded tab appears only when downloaded content exists.
Previously downloaded content can still be removed from the device.

Authors and supervisors should confirm offline requirements before publishing or assigning work in low-connectivity areas. See the DWI configuration documentation for the administrative procedure.
