  - Raise a JHA
    Create a new Job Hazard Analysis from a predefined template, defining job steps, hazards, and control measures.
  - Raise a JHA (Mobile)
    Raise a JHA from Mobile by defining the job, selecting the template, and submitting the hazards and controls for assignment.
  - Assign JHA
    After a JHA is submitted, it moves to the Assign stage. At this stage, the JHA Owner assigns the JHA Team responsible for field validation.
  - Assign the JHA Team (Mobile)
    Assign the required field participants so they can review and acknowledge the JHA before approval.
  - Work Acknowledgement
    Assigned team members must review the JHA and acknowledge the defined hazards and control measures before work begins.
  - Complete Work Acknowledgement (Mobile)
    Work acknowledgement confirms that all assigned team members have reviewed and understood the job steps, associated hazards, and required control measures before executing the task.
  - Approve or Revert JHA
    Once all assigned team members complete field validation and Work Acknowledgement, the JHA moves to the Approve stage.
  - Approve, Revert, or Reject a JHA (Mobile)
    After field acknowledgement, approve the JHA, return it for correction, or reject it when the supported conditions apply.
Part VI: Monitor and Audit
Monitor permit expiry and extensions, review retained evidence, access archives, and resolve execution or synchronization issues.
Part VII: Design and Configure (Administrator / Template Author)
Design and publish Permit, JHA, and Form templates and configure the list views shown to users.

Raise a JHA

Create a new Job Hazard Analysis from a predefined template, defining job steps, hazards, and control measures.

Role: JHA Requestor. Platform: Web.

Use this procedure to create a new JHA based on a predefined template. During this process, you define the activity, break it into job steps, and identify hazards and control measures.

The JHA Requestor initiates a JHA by selecting a predefined template and filling in the required details.

To raise a JHA:

Navigate to EHS → JHA from the left navigation panel.
Go to the Request tab and click Request Received.

Select the required template from the Select Template screen if multiple JHA templates are available.
Click Create JHA (or)

Click Raise JHA at the top right corner.
Provide the required details in the JHA Details screen:
1. Functional Location - Select the location where the work is to be performed.
2. Equipment - Select the equipment associated with the work, if applicable.
3. Define Activity - Specify the activity or task for which the JHA is being created

Define job steps, add predefined questions linked to each step.
For each job step:
- Select applicable Hazards
- Define corresponding Control Measures
- Assign the appropriate Risk Level.
Add Questions.
Upload supporting documents or images and add notes for additional context.
Add new steps or questions as required.
Click Submit.

The JHA ID is generated automatically upon submission.

The JHA is now submitted and moves to the Assign stage.

The JHA is created and moves to the assignment stage.
