Table 1. New Features and Enhancements in Release 2607

Create Follow-on Work Orders from Existing Work

Create a follow-on work order from an existing work order or operation. Copy only the header or include related operations, components, forms, and Work Instructions, then update the copied information as required.

For more information, see Create a Follow-on Work Order.

Filter Work Orders by Priority

Select one or more priorities in the Maintenance Control Center to limit its cards, counts, charts, and lists to matching work orders.

For more information, see Search and Filter Records.

Access Complete SAP Measurement History

View measurement documents and historical Measuring Point records synchronized from SAP under the corresponding equipment. Run synchronization again after the updated data setup is applied to load the complete history.

For more information, see View Equipment Details.

Filter Work Orders by Type

Use the Work Order Type filter in the Maintenance Control Center to narrow mixed work-order lists to the types relevant to planning or monitoring.

For more information, see Search and Filter Records.

Color Code Work Orders and Issues

Use configured colors for work-order priorities and statuses and for issue priorities, statuses, and types across dashboards, lists, Equipment, and Functional Location screens.

For more information, see Home (Dashboard).

Default Work Order Type for Duplicate and Follow-on Work Orders

When creating a duplicate or follow-on work order, PM11 is selected as the default Work Order Type. Review and change the value when required.

For more information, see Create a Work Order from Existing One.

Plant Value on Issue and Work-Order Creation

The Plant field is populated from the selected Equipment or Functional Location so the Work Center list is filtered using the correct plant context.

For more information, see Select Equipment and Functional Location.

Track User Adoption and Workflow Usage

Adoption reports show active users and actions completed across Issues, Work Orders, Operations, Components, Issue Slips, Measuring Documents, and Forms.

Record the Goods Recipient for Components

Use the Goods Recipient field on the Component screen to record the person receiving the material.

For more information, see Add Components.

Auto-Populate Maintenance Activity Type

Use Maintenance Activity Type values and defaults configured in SAP when creating issues. The default can be changed when required.

For more information, see Create Issues for Equipment Repair or Maintenance.

Receive Push Notifications for Chat Mentions

Receive a push notification when another user mentions you in a work-order chat. Selecting the notification opens the relevant conversation.

For more information, see Contact a Technician Using Contextual Chat.

Auto-Assign Forms at Operation Level

Forms configured in RACE for a Task List Group, Group Counter, or individual operation are assigned to the matching operation. Equipment, Functional Location, Work Order Type, and Maintenance Plan mappings continue to assign forms at work-order level.

For more information, see Add Forms.
