What Your Administrator Controls
Many modules, fields, and scanning options in mInventory depend on settings your administrator configures, most of them in RACE. If something described in this guide is missing or behaves differently, check these settings with your administrator.
About mInventory
mInventory is a mobile inventory and warehouse management solution from Innovapptive that leverages SAP's Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules, so that you can work safely, productively, and efficiently, eliminating paperwork.
Get Started
Connect to the server, log in, download the data you need for your shift, and set the language, time format, and text size.
Find Your Way Around mInventory
Learn the Home screen, buttons, and icons, set your default values and favorite modules, and find records by filtering, sorting, and scanning.
Work Offline
When the network connection is low or unstable, you can switch to offline mode and continue working: the transactions that you do in offline mode are stored in Offline Outbox, and they are automatically posted to backend systems when you switch from offline to online mode.
Unit 1: Inventory Management
Check stock, receive and issue goods, count inventory, transfer stock, correct or reverse postings, and verify the resulting material documents.
Unit 2: Warehouse Management
Put away received goods, pick, pack, and stage materials, move stock between bins, count warehouse stock, manage handling units, and monitor warehouse work.
Unit 3: Logistics, Procurement and Services
Raise and approve purchasing documents, confirm services, create and load shipments, and execute Remote Logistics transactions.
- Purchase Materials Through Mobile Devices
  Create purchase requisitions, review and approve requisitions and purchase orders, and view purchase order history.
- Confirm Services Availed from Internal or External Vendors
  Use the Services Confirmation module to confirm the services that are availed from an internal or external vendor.
- Create Shipment and Assign Deliveries
  When you receive requirements using a purchase, stock transport order or sales order, you verify the availability of stock or material, create deliveries and group them based on factors like transportation planning, picking address, delivery address, and cost. You then create a Shipment and assign these deliveries.
- Update Loading and Shipment Status
  Use the Loading module to manage your Shipment loading tasks. You can search the shipment documents, enter the loading start date and time and post the data to the server. Once the shipment is created, you can print and email the shipment document.
- Manage Offshore Logistics (Remote Logistics Management)
  Designed primarily for the oil and gas industry, the Remote Logistics Management (RLM) module supports the offshore logistics processes.
Troubleshoot Common Problems
Find what to check when scanning, printing, offline work, synchronization, posting, or counting does not work as expected.

View Purchase Order History

You can view Purchase Order history along with the material documents and track various goods movements done against the purchase order for the material quantity that is partially or fully delivered or yet to be delivered.

To view purchase order history:

In the Home screen, tap the Purchasing module.
Tap PO History.
Enter the search criterion such as PO Number, Document Type, and Date.
Tap Search.
Select the purchase order.

In the View Purchase Orders screen, select the line item under the Items tab.
You can see all the documents that are created against the purchase order.
