Unit 2: Warehouse Management

Put away received goods, pick, pack, and stage materials, move stock between bins, count warehouse stock, manage handling units, and monitor warehouse work.

The chapters in this Unit follow the order of the work: receive into the warehouse, put away, store, pick, pack, stage, move between bins, count, manage handling units, and monitor. Warehouse work is performed in the Inbound & Outbound Processes, Kitting, Transfer Posting, Cycle Counting, and EWM modules. The Home screen shows only the modules that you have access to.

Use the Inbound & Outbound Processes module to manage the inbound and outbound tasks including picking and packing the material, shipping from warehouse to the destination and sending the material to the put away.

Use the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module to effectively manage material flow and high volume processing requirements in warehouses/distribution centers. EWM supports warehouse management processes like goods movement and stock management.
