What Your Administrator Controls
Some of what you see in mRounds is set by your administrator, so a screen or option described in this guide may not appear on your device.
If something in this guide does not match what you see, check this list before assuming a fault.
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Sign-in method | SAP IDP sign-in appears only when your administrator has configured SAP IDP for your tenant. Otherwise you sign in with standard credentials. See Log in for the First Time and Log in with SAP IDP. |
| Asset scanning | The Asset Scan option appears only for plants where scanning is enabled. If you switch to a plant where scanning is disabled, the option does not appear. See Scan and Verify an Asset. |
| Actions | Actions are available only when the configured Issue workflow allows a follow-up activity to have its own owner, priority, and due date. See Choose an Issue or an Action. |
| How long finished rounds stay in the list | Overdue, skipped, and submitted rounds are removed from My Rounds after 24 hours. The period is configurable. See Find Your Way Around the App. |
| Plant, Unit, Position, and Shift preferences | You can choose these only when you are assigned to more than one. If you are assigned to one, the value is fixed. See Set Your Work Context. |
| Reading history on a task | Previous readings appear under Exceptions only when history is configured on the task and Sync Task Reading History is enabled. See Response Type Quick Reference. |
| Location capture | Geo Location fields appear only when configured, and also depend on your device granting location access. See Response Type Quick Reference. |
| Shift Handover Report content | The sections included in the report are chosen per plant by a Supervisor or administrator, so two plants can produce different reports. See Submit Your Shift Handover. |
