Create a Custom Widget

Add a widget to show a selected trend, report, chart, or table on a Custom Dashboard. Choose the visual that best supports the decision users must make.

Have a Custom Dashboard open. See Create and Use a Custom Dashboard.

To create a widget:

  1. Expand the Operator Rounds module, click Custom Dashboard, and open an existing dashboard card.
  2. Click Create Widget and choose a type.
    • Pre-Built (Only Trends): quick trend-based visualization with limited configuration.
    • Report: build from an existing report with full chart and layout control.
  3. For a Pre-Built (Trends) widget, fill in the Create Widget screen.
    1. Enter a Widget Label and Description.
    2. Under Variants, select Trend Line.
    3. Configure axes: Y axis — up to 5 tasks; X axis — Timestamp (default).
    4. Select display options: Show Values, Show Legends.
    5. Set colors under Colour Selection.
    6. Click Save.


  4. For a Report-based widget, fill in the Widget Configuration screen instead.
    1. Select a Report; Widget Label auto-fills from the report name (editable).
    2. Under Variants, pick a chart type: Column, Bar, Vertical or Horizontal Stacked, Multiline, Area, Donut, Pie, or Table.
    3. Configure axes: Y axis — Shift Name or Shift ID; X axis — Timestamp (default).
    4. Select Show Values, adjust Colour Selection, and review the live Preview panel.
    5. Click Save.


The widget is added to the dashboard, showing data for the dashboard's plant.
