Investigate Rounds That Need Attention

Investigate overdue, skipped, partly open, or exception-flagged rounds to understand what happened and route the finding to the correct follow-up process.

For example, if a pump records vibration above the configured limit, open the round and review the task response, evidence, and configured follow-up.

  1. In Scheduler > Rounds, filter for Overdue, Skipped, or Partly Open rounds.

Open the round to review its operator, status, progress, observations, notes, and tasks. For an overdue round, review the recorded reason when it is available. See View Scheduled Rounds and Their Status and Review Scheduled Round Plan Details.

  2. Use the Exceptions Dashboard and Observations to review abnormal readings, equipment findings, and other exceptions recorded during execution.

Open the affected record to determine whether it needs an Issue, an Action, or ERP escalation. See Monitor Anomalies Using the Exceptions Dashboard and Choose an Issue, an Action, or an ERP Notification.

  3. For future generated rounds, modify the plan schedule or assigned operator when operational needs change.

See Modify a Scheduled Round Plan. Use this procedure for future generated rounds. Do not use it to change a round that is already in progress on an operator's device.

  4. Record and track the selected follow-up through Issues, Actions, or ERP Notification as applicable.

The affected round and its findings are reviewed, and follow-up is recorded through the documented workflow.

Next: Continue monitoring when no follow-up is required. When the finding must be tracked, use Choose an Issue, an Action, or an ERP Notification.
