Review, authorize, validate, issue, hold, resume, or reject permits according to the active lifecycle role.

Acknowledge and execute permitted work, complete safety checks, surrender the permit, and close it after completion.

Create a JHA, assign the field team, acknowledge hazards and controls, and approve or return the JHA.

Monitor permit expiry and extensions, review retained evidence, access archives, and resolve execution or synchronization issues.

Design and publish Permit, JHA, and Form templates and configure the list views shown to users.

Raise a Work-Order-Linked Permit on Mobile

Raise a work-order- or operation-linked permit from Mobile when the action is available to your role, then submit it for review.

Role: Permit Requester. Platform: iMaintenance Mobile.

Open Permits in iMaintenance.
Tap the + action and select Raise Permit.
Select the required work order and tap Continue.
Select the applicable operation or operations.
Enable Combined Permit when one permit applies to multiple selected operations, and tap Continue.
Select the required Permit Type.
Enable Consolidated Permit when multiple permit templates must be combined, and tap Continue.
Complete the configured scope, validity, risk, crew, PPE, JHA, hazard, control, form, and attachment fields.
Review the permit details.
Tap Submit to raise the permit, or tap Save as Draft to finish it later.

The permit is saved as a draft or submitted to the configured review stage.
