Add Alerts and IMES Widgets to Shift Handover Reports

Add source-specific alert tables and IMES result tables to reports generated for a plant.

Changes apply to reports generated after you save. Reports already created keep their layout.

  1. Check the report levels of the plant: in Master Configurations > Plants, edit the plant and check which levels are turned on (plant, unit, or position).

Alerts and IMES results reach only reports at the levels turned on.

  2. Open Shift Handover > Report Configuration and select the plant.
  3. To show all alerts from every source system, keep the built-in Alerts section selected.

This section is available when enableSHRAlerts is on.

  4. Click Add Section, and enter a Section Name (for example, Seeq Alerts) and a description.
  5. In the new section, click Add Widget.
  6. In Create Widget, enter the widget label and description (for example, Seeq Critical Alerts).
  7. Set Widget Type to Table.
  8. In Source, select an alert source system (for example, seeq) or IMES.
  9. In Collection, select alerts for an alert source, or the IMES result table (for example, IMES Material).
  10. In Fields, select up to five columns to show.

  11. Check the preview, click Create Widget, and save the configuration.

Reports generated after the change show the new sections and widgets. A widget added today does not appear on today's existing report; it appears on the next report generated.

If something is missing

  • Source missing in Create Widget: no message from that source has arrived yet, or its flag (enableSHRAlerts or enableSHRIMES) is off.
  • Alerts tab missing: enableSHRAlerts is off, or the Alerts section is not selected for the plant.
  • Widget empty on today's report: the widget was added after the report was generated. Check the next shift's report.
  • No alerts for a plant: the alert is not mapped to a plant on the platform, or the plant's report level is off. Ask the DevOps team to check the service logs.
