New and Expanded Integration Documentation in Release 2609

This edition adds or expands documentation for the following integrations. Some of these capabilities were available before 2609; what is new is their documentation in this guide.

Table 1. New and Expanded Integration Documentation in Release 2609

IBM Maximo Integration

This edition documents three separate Maximo flows: the master-data connection that synchronizes Locations and Assets, with its API Key, Basic and OAuth Token authorization options; outbound Work Orders created in Maximo from mRounds Issues with field and value mappings; and incoming Work Order events published from Maximo through the INNO_WO_mRounds publish channel.

For more information, see Establish a Connection with Maximo for Master Data Integration, Configure Outbound Work Orders to Maximo, Configure Maximo Work Order Events for mRounds.

Dozuki Integration

New documentation for turning on the Dozuki integration for a tenant and setting its API path, site URL and administrator account.

For more information, see Configure the Dozuki Integration.

AVEVA PI Integration

New and expanded documentation for receiving PI event frames by polling or by webhook, acknowledging each received alert in PI, and writing operator round readings back to PI attributes, with the PI Web API calls, payloads and sign-in for each direction.

For more information, see Integrate mRounds with AVEVA PI, Poll AVEVA PI for Event Frames, Receive AVEVA PI Event Frames by Webhook, Write Acknowledgements and Round Readings to AVEVA PI.

iMES Data in Shift Handover Reports

New documentation for the iMES data sets used in shift handover (Order Details, Machine Time, In Loads and Waste), the TaskOrchestration database and Kafka settings, task graphs and schedules, the results message on Kafka, and an end-to-end verification.

For more information, see IMES Prerequisites for Shift Handover Reports, iMES Data Sets for Shift Handover, TaskOrchestration Connection Settings for iMES, iMES Task Graphs and Schedules, iMES Results Message on Kafka, Verify That IMES Results Reach Shift Handover Reports.

Benchmark Gensuite Integration

New documentation for sending mRounds Issues to Gensuite as Concern Reports: enabling the integration and preparing plants, preparing the Issue form, creating the connection, and mapping each plant's Issues.

For more information, see Send mRounds Issues to Benchmark Gensuite, Enable Gensuite and Prepare Existing Plants, Prepare the Issue Form for Gensuite, Create a Benchmark Gensuite Connection, Map Plant Issues to Gensuite Concern Reports.

Shift Handover Reports with Platform Alerts and IMES

New documentation for showing platform Alerts and IMES results in Shift Handover Reports: how the data arrives, the tenant feature flags and settings, custom sections and widgets, and how report data refreshes and works offline on mobile.

For more information, see Connect Shift Handover Reports to Platform Alerts and IMES, Configure Shift Handover Alerts and IMES Settings, Add Alerts and IMES Widgets to Shift Handover Reports.

SFTP Server Downtime Notifications

Stay ahead of potential disruptions with SFTP Server Downtime Notifications. This feature sends instant alerts when the SFTP server experiences downtime, enabling the super admin to take immediate action and restore operations without delay.

How it benefits:
  • Proactive Issue Management: Super admins are promptly informed of any server issues, allowing for quick resolution.
  • Minimized Impact: Faster responses help reduce the negative effects of server downtime on daily operations.

For more information, see Establish a Connection with FTP Server for Data Export.

Plant-Specific Filters in Master Data, Reports and Dashboard

The Plant-Specific Filters feature allows operators to filter and view data, reports, and dashboards specific to individual plants within an organization.

How it benefits:
  • Enhanced Decision-Making: Plant-specific filters enable managers and operators to make more informed decisions based on precise data from their specific operational unit, avoiding irrelevant information from other plants.
  • Operational Focus: Operators and staff can focus on their specific plant's performance, driving productivity improvements and targeted troubleshooting without distraction from other operational areas.
