Preface
This guide is for Operators who execute rounds in the mRounds mobile app. It explains the conventions, related information, and support contacts used throughout the guide.
Overview of mRounds
As an Operator, use mRounds to follow planned inspection routes, record asset readings, report abnormal conditions, and pass accurate information to the next shift.
Start Your Shift
Start each shift by signing in, confirming the correct work context, reviewing the previous handover, and making sure the rounds you need are available.
Find and Claim Your Rounds
Use the Rounds screen to begin assigned work, claim an open round, create an ad hoc round from an available predefined plan, or release work you cannot continue.
Execute the Round
Execute a round by following the route, verifying each asset when required, completing the configured tasks, handling exceptions, and submitting the finished record.
Choose an Issue or an Action
Choose how to record follow-up work when a round reveals an abnormal condition or a separately assignable activity.
Close Your Shift
End the shift by bringing active work to a safe stopping point, recording unresolved conditions, and submitting a clear handover to the incoming shift.
Find and Manage Rounds, Issues, and Actions
Use search and filters when you need to find a specific round, Issue, or Action without scanning every record in the list.
Troubleshoot Common Problems
Use this guidance when a round, scan, response, handover, or synchronization step does not work as expected.
Customize Your Settings
Use your profile settings to keep the app aligned with your plant, unit, position, shift, language, and preferred display.
- View User Profile
  Open your User Profile to review account information and reach the preferences that control data synchronization and app behavior.
- Update User Preferences
  Update Plant, Unit, Position, or Shift when your work context changes. The selected values determine which relevant data synchronizes to the device.
- Switch Between Dark and Light Modes
  Choose Light or Dark mode to keep the mobile app comfortable and readable for the conditions in which you are working.
- Change the Language
  Change the app language when another supported language makes field labels and instructions easier for you to understand.

View User Profile

Open your User Profile to review account information and reach the preferences that control data synchronization and app behavior.

To access and view the User Profile screen:

Log in to the application.
Tap the User Profile icon on top left.
The User Profile screen is displayed with the following details:
- Photo
- Full Name
- Eemail address
- Sync Status
- Restart Initial Sync
- Outbox
- User Preferences
- Theme
- Version
- Sign Out
