What’s New for Supervisors in mRounds

Author Rich Text Guidance for Tasks

Tasks can now include rich text guidance authored directly in Round Authoring, using bold, italic, and bullet formatting. This guidance appears to operators at the point of execution on mobile, giving them clear instructions without relying on separate documentation.

Global Templates for Round Plans and Forms

Templates can now be created as Global Templates — plant-independent and reusable across multiple plants — alongside existing plant-specific Local Templates. Access to create or manage Global Templates is controlled by roles and permissions.

Role-Based Field Permissions for Issue Templates

Fields in an issue template can now be configured as editable, read-only, or hidden based on user roles, ensuring operators only see fields relevant to their responsibilities while supervisors retain full visibility and control.

User Group Filter Across Dashboards, Observations, and OCC

The Compliance Dashboard, Exceptions Dashboard, Operations Control Center, and Issues and Actions can now be filtered by User Group, allowing performance to be monitored for a specific crew without manually sorting through data for all groups.

Multi-Select Locations/Assets in Search Results

Locations and assets can now be selected in bulk from search results, including a Select All option, instead of one at a time while creating or editing round plans and templates. This speeds up plan creation for large-scale rounds.

HEIC Image Support for Issue Attachments

HEIC image attachments submitted with issues through the CWP-Operator Rounds desktop app can now be opened correctly, resolving a bug that created multiple broken attachments in SAP.

Updated Visual Language — Chips & Badges Refresh

Priority, Status, Count, Change Tracking, and Entity chips/badges across Forms, Templates, Round Plans, Scheduler, Observations, Shift Handover Reports, and Approvals have been updated to the new CWP style, using pastel surfaces with color-dot indicators and dark text for improved readability and visual consistency.

Private, Signed URL Access for Web Files

Files stored in the web app are now served through a private, secured bucket with time-limited signed URLs and private CDN redirection, strengthening data security and access control.

Audit Fields Backfill for Task Submission Tables

Audit fields (such as created/updated by and timestamp data) have been backfilled for existing task submission records, ensuring accurate historical tracking across submission-related tables.

Loading Indicators for FLOC and Unit Fields

Location and Unit fields on the issue form now show individual loaders while populating, so the rest of the form is available immediately instead of waiting on slower-loading fields.

Conditional Email Alerts

Users can now configure conditional email notifications directly within Round Authoring using task logic. Notifications are automatically triggered when task responses meet defined conditions, helping teams stay informed about critical deviations without creating Issues or Actions.

Multi-Level Shift Assignment

Shifts can now be configured and assigned at Plant, Unit, and Position levels. Shift selection, round visibility, dashboards, and handover reports dynamically adjust based on the selected hierarchy level, improving operational flexibility and data accuracy.

Location & Asset Filter Search

Users can now search within the Location and Asset filters in the Observations tab (Issues & Actions). The filters also display both ID and name, making it easier to find and select the correct items

Compliance Reporting – Exclude Current Day

Compliance reports now exclude the current day when predefined historical date filters are used, ensuring calculations are based only on completed days for more accurate results.

Bulk Create Round Plans via Excel

Users can now create Round Plans and tasks in bulk using an Excel template, including task details and conditional logic configuration.

Mass Schedule Round Plans via Excel

Multiple round plans can now be scheduled at once by uploading an Excel file, reducing the need to schedule plans individually and enabling faster bulk scheduling updates.

Edit Asset or Location After Creation of Issue and Action

Asset and Functional Location (FLOC) can now be updated on existing Issues and Actions after creation, allowing corrections without recreating the record.

Functional Location ID Updates in Round Plans

Round Plans now automatically display updated Functional Location IDs when location master data is modified, helping users view the latest location information during round planning.
