Preface
This guide is for Supervisors and Round Planners who use the mRounds web application. It explains the conventions, related information, and support contacts used throughout the guide.
Overview of mRounds
As a Supervisor or Round Planner, use mRounds to design inspection work, schedule and assign rounds, monitor execution, review findings, and hand over the shift.
Log in to the Web Application
Sign in to the mRounds web application using the method configured by your organization. Your permissions determine which planning, monitoring, approval, and administration options appear.

- Choose How to Schedule a Round
  Choose frequency, specific-date, task-level, or bulk scheduling based on how often the complete round or individual tasks must run.
- Schedule a Round Plan by Frequency
  Create a repeating schedule when the round must run daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. The schedule controls future round generation.
  - Set the Shift, Slot, and Buffer Time
    Set the shift, execution slot, and allowed buffer so Operators know when the round is due and how long they may submit after the planned time.

    Assign the scheduled work and define how far in advance rounds are generated. These settings determine who can see the round and when it becomes available.

  Use a specific-date schedule for checks that must occur on selected calendar dates rather than follow a repeating frequency.

  Use task-level scheduling when some tasks within a round must run more or less often than the rest of the plan.

  Modify a future schedule when shift timing, assignment, frequency, or operational requirements change. Review the effect on future generated rounds.
Investigate Rounds That Need Attention
Investigate overdue, skipped, partly open, or exception-flagged rounds to understand what happened and route the finding to the correct follow-up process.
Choose an Issue, an Action, or an ERP Notification
Choose the follow-up record that matches the finding, then track it through ownership, progress, resolution, or enterprise maintenance processing.
Hand Over Your Shift
End the shift by reviewing the operational record, adding the required context, submitting the report, and making it available to the incoming Supervisor.
Configure Dashboards and Reports
Create reusable dashboards and reports when the standard shift views do not provide the combination of metrics or detail the organization needs.
Find Rounds, Issues, and Actions
Use search when you know identifying details for a record, and apply filters when you need to narrow a larger list of round plans, scheduled rounds, Issues, or Actions.

Schedule a Round Plan by Frequency

Create a repeating schedule when the round must run daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. The schedule controls future round generation.

To schedule a round by frequency:

Expand the Operator Rounds module and click Scheduler on the left pane.
In the Plans tab, click Schedule on the round plan and select Header Level.

Or click the More icon and select Schedule > Header Level.

In the Header screen, choose the By Frequency radio button.

In Repeats Every, set the interval and unit (day, week, or month).
- 10 + day = every 10 days. 2 + week or month = every 2 weeks or months.
For a specific weekday each month (for example, every "Monday"), mRounds adjusts automatically at month boundaries: if the month starts on a Thursday, the first scheduled Monday is the first full week's Monday; if the month ends on a Sunday, the last scheduled Monday is the previous full week's Monday. No manual fix is needed for these calendar edge cases.
Select when to end the schedule: Ends On <Date> or Ends After <number> Occurrences.
In Start Date, select when the schedule begins.

The recurrence pattern is set.
