Choose How to Schedule a Round
Choose frequency, specific-date, task-level, or bulk scheduling based on how often the complete round or individual tasks must run.
| Use... | When... |
|---|---|
| By Frequency (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) | The whole round plan repeats on a regular cycle — for example, a weekly pump-bearing check. |
| By Specific Date (header level) | The round must run on particular calendar dates rather than a repeating cycle. |
| Task Level | Only certain tasks inside the plan need a different frequency than the rest — for example, one task runs daily while the rest of the plan runs weekly. |
| Use... | When... |
|---|---|
| The Scheduler screen, one plan at a time | You are scheduling or adjusting a single round plan. |
| Excel bulk scheduling | You need to schedule or update frequency, shift, slot, buffer, or assignment across several round plans or units at once, including task-level overrides. |
To change a schedule after it is set, see Modify a Scheduled Round Plan.
After choosing the method, complete its schedule and then monitor the generated rounds.
