Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) helps identify, assess, and control hazards associated with a specific job or activity before work begins. Using configurable templates, you can create, assign, validate, and approve JHAs to ensure risks are properly evaluated and safety controls are in place.
Manage JHA on Mobile
The mobile application enables users to manage the complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) lifecycle directly from the field. Users can raise JHAs, assign them to responsible teams, acknowledge work steps, and approve or revert requests as required. This ensures hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and appropriate safety controls are validated before work execution.
Approve JHA
Approving a JHA validates that the hazards, risk assessments, and control measures are correctly defined. The approver can approve the JHA, revert it for corrections, or reject it if it is no longer required.

    Creating a JHA helps identify potential hazards and define control measures before starting work. Users can raise a JHA by specifying the work scope, selecting the appropriate template, defining job steps, and submitting the request for review and approval.
  - Assign JHA
    Assigning a JHA ensures that the appropriate team or responsible personnel review and evaluate the identified hazards and control measures before work begins.
  - Work Acknowledgement
    Work acknowledgement confirms that all assigned team members have reviewed and understood the job steps, associated hazards, and required control measures before executing the task.
  - Approve JHA
    Approving a JHA validates that the hazards, risk assessments, and control measures are correctly defined. The approver can approve the JHA, revert it for corrections, or reject it if it is no longer required.

Approve JHA

Approving a JHA validates that the hazards, risk assessments, and control measures are correctly defined. The approver can approve the JHA, revert it for corrections, or reject it if it is no longer required.

To approve a JHA:

Go to the All JHA or Pending Approval tab.
Select the JHA that needs to be approved.
Click Take Action.
Perform one of the following actions:
1. Approve – Approve the JHA if all details are valid.
2. Revert – Send the JHA back to the requestor for required changes.
3. Reject – Reject the JHA if it is no longer required.
Based on the selected action:
1. If you click Approve, add Signature and Comments, then click Submit.
2. If you click Revert, provide valid Comments for reverting the JHA and click Submit.
3. If you click Reject, provide valid Comments for rejecting the JHA and click Submit.
