Create and Manage JHA
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) helps identify, assess, and control hazards associated with a specific job or activity before work begins. Using configurable templates, you can create, assign, validate, and approve JHAs to ensure risks are properly evaluated and safety controls are in place.
Manage JHA on Web
The Web Application provides the functionality to manage the complete JHA lifecycle—from raising the JHA to final approval. Users can Raise, Assign, and Approve JHAs through defined stages to ensure hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and appropriate safety controls are validated before work begins.
Approve or Revert JHA
Once all assigned team members complete field validation and Work Acknowledgement, the JHA moves to the Approve stage.

Permit management ensures that hazardous work is properly planned, reviewed, authorized, and executed in compliance with safety requirements. You can create, review, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits to control work activities and ensure all required safety checks are completed throughout the permit lifecycle.

- Manage JHA on Web
  The Web Application provides the functionality to manage the complete JHA lifecycle—from raising the JHA to final approval. Users can Raise, Assign, and Approve JHAs through defined stages to ensure hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and appropriate safety controls are validated before work begins.
  - Raise a JHA
  - Assign JHA
    After a JHA is submitted, it moves to the Assign stage. At this stage, the JHA Owner assigns the JHA Team responsible for field validation.
  - Work Acknowledgement
    Assigned team members must review the JHA and acknowledge the defined hazards and control measures before work begins.
  - Approve or Revert JHA
    Once all assigned team members complete field validation and Work Acknowledgement, the JHA moves to the Approve stage.
- Manage JHA on Mobile
  The mobile application enables users to manage the complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) lifecycle directly from the field. Users can raise JHAs, assign them to responsible teams, acknowledge work steps, and approve or revert requests as required. This ensures hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and appropriate safety controls are validated before work execution.

Track Permit Expiry and Compliance

Approve or Revert JHA

Once all assigned team members complete field validation and Work Acknowledgement, the JHA moves to the Approve stage.

To approve or revert a JHA:

Navigate to EHS → JHA from the left navigation panel.
Go to the Pending Approval tab and select the JHA that needs to be reviewed.
In this stage, the approver can perform the following actions:
1. Approve – Approve the JHA if all hazards, control measures, and risk assessments are reviewed and acceptable.
2. Reject – Reject the JHA if it is not valid or no longer required.
3. Revert – Revert the JHA to the requester if any changes or additional information are required.

The JHA is approved, and now the linked permit can proceed to the next stage.
