Standalone Permits Can Now Go Through the Full Process

In Standalone Permits, permits that aren't linked to a Work Order can now be fully authorized and completed. A new field lets you say what kind of work it is — contractor, emergency, facility, etc.

QR Scan Now Follows Your Permissions

In Permit Execution, what you can do with QR code scanning - view, scan, or acknowledge a permit now matches what your role allows.

Single or Multiple Entry Forms

In Permit Authoring, you can now choose if a form can be filled in only once, or if people can add multiple entries. One-time forms save your progress automatically. Multi-entry forms let you add as many as you need, each handled on its own.

Simpler Section & Field Permissions

In Permit Authoring, admins now pick from just three simple options for each section or field: view it, edit it, or hide it. This is now properly enforced during Permit Execution on both web and mobile.

Cleaner Roles & Permissions Setup

In Admin Configuration, roles and permissions for all EHS areas are now organized the same way, making them easier to set up. If something is turned off for a user, it's now fully hidden and blocked everywhere in the app, not just on the screen.

Permit Plan & Maps Show Only When Turned On

In Permit Execution, the Permit Plan and Maps features now appear only if your organization has enabled them.

Handle Permits on Work Orders With No Listed Tasks

In Permits & JHA execution, if a work order has no tasks listed, technicians can still link a permit to it, acknowledge it, and surrender it when done.
