What Your Administrator Controls

Several parts of the web application are governed by permissions and tenant configuration, so a screen or option described in this guide may not appear for your account.

If something in this guide does not match what you see, check this list before assuming a fault.

Table 1. Settings that change what you see
Setting What it changes
Permissions Workflow approval and administrative options appear only when the required permissions are configured for your account. See Overview of mRounds.
Sign-in method SAP IDP sign-in is available only when an administrator has set it up for your organization. Otherwise you sign in with standard credentials. See Log in with Standard Credentials and Log in with SAP IDP.
User Groups The User Group filter appears on the Exceptions dashboard only when User Groups are configured. See Monitor Anomalies Using the Exceptions Dashboard.
Editing an Issue's asset or location You can change the Asset or Functional Location on an Issue only when the feature is enabled through tenant configuration. See Update and Close an Issue.
Location capture and geofences Round details show task locations on a map, their position relative to configured geofences, and geo-compliance scores only when location capture is configured. See View Scheduled Rounds and Their Status.
Asset scanning Scanning is enabled per plant. A round plan that enforces barcode scanning behaves differently in a plant where scanning is disabled. See Modify Round Plans.
Actions Actions are available only when the configured Issue workflow permits a separately assignable follow-up activity. See Create an Action.
SAP measuring points A numeric task posts its reading to SAP as a measurement document only when a Measuring Point ID from SAP is configured on the task. See Number.
Shift Handover template access Who can view and perform handovers for a plant, unit, or position is set through data permissions. See Control Access to Shift Handover Templates.

For the settings you administer yourself, see the Administration chapter, which starts with Configure an Issue.
