Permit management ensures that hazardous work is properly planned, reviewed, authorized, and executed in compliance with safety requirements. You can create, review, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits to control work activities and ensure all required safety checks are completed throughout the permit lifecycle.
Manage Permits on Mobile Application
The functionality to manage all stages of the permit lifecycle—from raising the permit to final closure—is available in the Mobile Application. The mobile app enables users to create permits, review details, validate safety requirements, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits directly from the field.

Permit management ensures that hazardous work is properly planned, reviewed, authorized, and executed in compliance with safety requirements. You can create, review, authorize, issue, execute, and close permits to control work activities and ensure all required safety checks are completed throughout the permit lifecycle.

Track Permit Expiry and Compliance
Permit Expiry Reports provide a consolidated view of permits that have expired or are nearing expiry across shifts and plants. This helps supervisors quickly track permit status, identify potential compliance risks, and take timely action without opening individual permits.
Access Archived Records
Archived record management enables audit and compliance readiness. Access and review past permits and JHAs for traceability and analysis.

Execute the Permit

After a permit is issued, it moves to Stage 5 (Execute). In this stage, the technician performs the permitted work using the mobile application. Before starting the work, the technician must acknowledge the permit, confirm the required safety checks, and then execute the assigned operation as per the permit conditions.

Follow the steps below to Execute the permit:

Open the issued permit.
Select the required Operation.
Click Assign to Me to assign the operation to yourself.
Click Start Operation.

Click Acknowledge and answer all mandatory questions.

Click Submit to provide your acknowledgment.
If additional personnel are required for support, choose one of the following options:
1. Add: Add personnel to the operation.
2. Skip: Proceed without adding personnel.
3. Cancel: Cancel the request.

If adding personnel, enter the required details:
1. Name
2. Signature
Click Confirm to save the details.
Validate the required PPE, or
Skip if PPE validation is not applicable.

Click Start Operation to begin the work.
Perform the work as per the permit conditions.
Click End Operation after completing the work.
Click Hold if conditions require you to temporarily pause the operation.
Click Submit to end the operation.
Review the success message confirming that the operation is completed.
Once the operation is complete, surrender the permit.
Add Signature and Comment.
Click Confirm to surrender the permit.
