Rounds Completed During a System Outage

When a round was run on paper because mRounds was unavailable, assign it for recovery entry so the operator can record the results against the time the work was actually done.

This is not the same as offline working. Offline means the device had no signal but mRounds still captured the readings and held them in the Outbox. Recovery entry is for the case where mRounds itself was unavailable and the round was completed on paper.

Left alone, those rounds stay Overdue and no record exists of the work that was carried out. Recovery entry records when the inspection was actually performed.

Who does what

Role What they do
Supervisor Finds the overdue round in the Scheduler and assigns it for recovery entry to the operator who performed it. See View Scheduled Rounds and Their Status for filtering by status.
Operator Enters the recorded results against the original inspection date and time, then submits.

What the record shows afterwards

The round carries the original inspection date and time, so compliance and Shift Handover data reflect when the work was done. The later digital submission time is retained for audit, so the record also shows when it was entered.

Review it as you would any submitted round — see What a Submitted Round Gives You.

Before you can use it

Recovery entry is disabled by default and is enabled on request. See What Your Administrator Controls.
