What a Submitted Round Gives You

What arrives when an operator submits a round, where each part of it surfaces, and why a round can be complete on the device but not yet visible to you.

The record

The round's status becomes Submitted. Open it from the Scheduler to see its summary, observations, notes and tasks, and download it as a PDF. Where location capture is configured, the record also shows task locations on a map, their position relative to configured geofences, and geo-compliance scores. See View Scheduled Rounds and Their Status and Review Scheduled Round Plan Details.

A round not submitted by its due date and time shows as Overdue instead. If it was completed on paper during an outage, assign it for recovery entry rather than leaving it overdue — see Rounds Completed During a System Outage.

Rounds completed offline

A round completed without a network connection sits in the operator's Outbox and becomes available to you after their device reconnects and synchronizes.

Where the data surfaces

  • Readings outside their configured limits appear as exceptions, carrying the message and color set on the task. See Monitor Anomalies Using the Exceptions Dashboard.
  • Round, scan, time, and Issue and Action compliance update. See Review Compliance.
  • Execution time and completion feed operator and group performance. See Review Operator and Group Performance.
  • Rounds, tasks, Issues, Actions, exceptions, notes and logs from the shift feed the Shift Handover Report. See Understand Shift Handover Reports.
  • Where a task carries a Measuring Point ID, the reading posts to SAP as a measurement document and the document number appears on the web application, in the submitted Round PDF, and in the Shift Handover Report. See Number.

If a Round Submission Email workflow is active, the people it defines are emailed as soon as the round is submitted. See Rounds Notification Workflow.

Issues and Actions raised during the round

These are tracked separately and stay open until someone records a resolution. Submitting the round does not close them. See Track Ongoing Issues and Monitor Actions.
