Digital Work Instructions
Release 2607Digital Work Instructions provide controlled, step-by-step guidance for maintenance and operator work. Authors create and publish instructions in iCWP Web; technicians and operators open approved guidance from iMaintenance or mRounds.
- Work Instructions can include prerequisites, tools and PPE, ordered steps, images and videos, warnings, hints, additional guidance, feedback, and controlled versions.
- A Work Instruction supports execution but does not start, pause, complete, or change the status of the related work order, operation, round, or task.
- Field users consume Work Instructions through iMaintenance or mRounds rather than through a separate execution system.

Better Control of Offline Work Instruction AccessAdministrators can control Work Instruction downloads by plant and user permission. When downloads are disabled, unavailable actions are hidden, existing downloads can still be removed, and the Downloaded tab appears only when content is available.Work Instructions in the Preferred LanguageField users can open Work Instructions in their selected language and use translated content offline. They can switch languages without losing their current position, and configured fallback content appears when a translation is unavailable.
