Digital Work Instructions

Release 2607

Digital Work Instructions provide controlled, step-by-step guidance for maintenance and operator work. Authors create and publish instructions in iCWP Web; technicians and operators open approved guidance from iMaintenance or mRounds.

  • Work Instructions can include prerequisites, tools and PPE, ordered steps, images and videos, warnings, hints, additional guidance, feedback, and controlled versions.
  • A Work Instruction supports execution but does not start, pause, complete, or change the status of the related work order, operation, round, or task.
  • Field users consume Work Instructions through iMaintenance or mRounds rather than through a separate execution system.
